This is why I understood the differences in cultures and customs.
Over the past 30 years, I have visited and surveyed more than 50 international aerospace exhibitions around the world. We have a network with the secretariats of each exhibition (air show) and provide support for exhibiting organizations andcompanies from Japan.
Aeromart Toulouse 2020
Aeromart Toulouse 2020 was held from Tuesday, December 1, 2020 to Wednesday, December 3, 2020. During this period, the pandemic of the new coronavirus had a significant impact on the exhibition and the meeting was held online entirely.
The use of the web is becoming more and more important for company's appeal to the public, and I experienced with a virtual exhibition first time. Looking at the exhibits from around the world, I found that they were good at presentations. Among Asian neighboring countries, the appeal of Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese companies seemed better than Japanese companies. They made good presentations of their companies using videos and advertising magazines. Overseas companies spend more money on advertising than Japanese companies.
To appeal to major companies in Europe, U.S. and people around the world who are interested in Japanese companies, I felt Japanese companies has to make more efforts for appeals. There are clusters all over Japan, and many small and medium-sized companies participate in them. I felt it is important to conduct and utilize seminars to improve the appeal capability.
